Build your career where Thai law meets international business. Sanet Legal & Accountancy is looking for a smart and motivated Thai lawyer who wants to work directly with international businesses.
You do not need to be a senior lawyer or already be an expert in every field. We are looking for a capable legal professional with a sound legal foundation, strong English communication skills and the ambition to develop into an international corporate lawyer.
This position offers substantially more than routine legal administration. You will gain practical experience in corporate law, foreign investment, BOI promotion, the Foreign Business Act, immigration and regulatory matters. You will work closely with Thai and international colleagues and communicate directly with foreign clients
MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Prepare, review and submit corporate documents, applications, resolutions, official letters and regulatory filings.
Advise and support international clients on company formation, corporate structures, joint ventures and corporate changes in Thailand. Support applications for BOI privileges, Foreign Business Licenses (FBL), and Foreign Business Certificates (FBC).
Support clients with visa, work permit and immigration-related matters connected with their business activities in Thailand.
Communicate directly with international clients and explain Thai legal requirements, procedures and practical solutions in clear English.
Conduct legal research and prepare practical legal opinions, summaries and recommendations in English and Thai.
Monitor deadlines, follow up with authorities and clients, and maintain complete and well-organised case documentation.
YOU SHOULD BRING THESE KEY SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law from a Thai university.
Able to communicate confidently with international clients in spoken and written English.
At least one year of relevant experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, government-related legal work or corporate services.
Practical experience with company registrations, corporate filings or procedures before Thai government authorities.
Thai Lawyer License is preferred. Candidates currently completing the licensing process may also be considered.Experience with company registration, corporate filings, or government authority procedures.
THESE WOULD BE FAVORABLE:
Experience with visas, work permits or immigration procedures for foreign employees and investors.
Previous work with international clients, foreign-owned companies or multinational organisations.
Experience drafting legal documents, applications, official correspondence or commercial agreements in English.
