This is an excellent opportunity for a young Thai lawyer who wants to develop in a truly international environment. You will work closely with German, Swiss and Thai lawyers, accountants and business consultants and support foreign investors and international companies in practical legal matters in Thailand.
A key focus of the role is the support of company formations, corporate changes, visa and work permit matters, BOI-related procedures and other regulatory filings. You will also become an important communication partner for Thai authorities, banks and international clients.
The role is ideal for a licensed Thai lawyer with approximately three years of practical experience, good English skills, strong service orientation and the ambition to grow into a practical expert for international corporate legal services, government procedures and foreign business matters in Thailand.
MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
You will communicate directly with international clients in, Thai authorities and banks in corporate and regulatory matters.
You will support international clients in visa and work permit matters, the opening of corporate bank accounts, and communicate professionally with authorities and banks regarding requirements, documents and process steps.
You will support applications for BOI promotion, Foreign Business License and Foreign Business Certificate matters, including coordination with the relevant authorities.
You will communicate directly with international clients in English and review and follow up legal and corporate documents, applications, letters and supporting filings in cooperation with Thai and foreign lawyers and consultants.
You will step-by-step deepen your expertise in the Foreign Business Act, BOI regulations and legal procedures for foreign companies in Thailand.
YOU SHOULD BRING THESE KEY SKILLS:
You hold a valid Thai Lawyer License and have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Law.
You have practical experience in communicating and following up with Thai authorities, especially BOI, DBD, Immigration Office, other relevant government agencies, and in dealing with banks on opening corporate bank accounts.
You have good English skills, both spoken and written, and are comfortable communicating in a confident, open and professional manner directly with international clients.
You have approximately three years of practical experience in a law firm, a corporate legal department or a company dealing with corporate, regulatory, authority-related or foreign investor matters.
You have a strong service mindset, work in a structured and detail-oriented manner and follow up matters reliably, independently and on time.
You have a friendly, cooperative personality and the ambition to develop further in international corporate legal services.
THIS WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE:
Practical experience with company registration, visa or work permit matters, BOI promotion & FBL.
Experience in working with international clients or foreign-managed companies.
Experience in preparing legal and corporate documents, applications, letters and authority filings.
