As an Accounting Manager at Sanet Legal & Accountancy, you will lead a small team, manage the accounting and tax compliance of a mid-sized international group, and oversee a selected portfolio of international outsourcing clients. This hands-on role combines technical expertise, client communication, and close cooperation with management, auditors, and lawyers.
MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements for the Sanet Group companies.
Prepare and supervise monthly and annual tax filings and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
Coordinate year-end closing activities with external auditors and communicate with the Revenue Department and other authorities when required.
Supervise and support a three-member accounting team responsible for A/R, A/P, payroll, tax filings, and client accounting.
Review accounting records, reconciliations, supporting documents, and management reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS: CLIENT ACCOUNTING SERVICES
Assess and onboard new accounting outsourcing clients together with the management and legal teams.
Set up appropriate accounting processes, reporting structures, and QuickBooks systems for new clients.
Act as the main point of contact for international clients regarding day-to-day accounting, reporting, and tax matters.
Review monthly financial reports, verify the plausibility of results, identify irregularities, and respond to client enquiries.
Supervise the preparation of monthly tax filings, year-end accounts, and other agreed accounting reports for clients.
YOU SHOULD BRING IN THESE KEY SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Registered CPD accountant in Thailand or Thai CPA qualification.
At least five years of professional accounting experience, including responsibility for monthly and annual closing.
Sound knowledge of Thai accounting standards, taxation, and statutory reporting requirements.
Experience in supervising or professionally guiding a small accounting team.
Good command of written and spoken English, equivalent to TOEIC 800 or above, with the confidence to communicate directly with international clients.
Confident, service-oriented communication with clients, auditors, authorities, and management.
Strong self-organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several deadlines and clients simultaneously.
THESE WOULD BE FAVORABLE:
Experience with an accounting firm, outsourcing provider, tax consultancy, or international service company.
Practical knowledge of QuickBooks or comparable accounting software (e.g., Xero, PEAK, Express, Sage 50, MYOB). QuickBooks training can be provided.
Experience with payroll and accounting for newly established foreign-owned companies.
