Take your engineering career into the field with BÜRKLE. Install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot advanced presses, coating lines and automated production systems across Southeast Asia. This hands-on role combines mechanical installation, electrical engineering, Siemens PLC technology, customer training and international travel. A sound basic understanding of hydraulics, mechanics and electrical engineering would be a strong advantage.
MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Prepare and carry out mechanical pre-installation according to approved layouts and technical drawings.
Install and align rails, cable trays, carriages, presses, racks and other machine components.
Perform electrical wiring, connections and safety inspections before powering up the system.
Test and commission machinery and production lines, including functional checks and start-up support.
Train customer personnel in safe machine operation, basic maintenance and correct system use.
OTHER FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and standard software-related issues.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and corrective repairs.
Carry out retrofits, upgrades and technical modifications.
Coordinate specific technical issues with BÜRKLE specialists and sub-suppliers.
Recommend suitable preventive maintenance and spare-parts packages to customers.
YOU SHOULD BRING THESE KEY SKILLS:
Strong hands-on knowledge of both mechanical and electrical engineering.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and quickly understand hydraulic drawings.
Practical experience with Siemens PLC systems and industrial automation.
At least three years of experience in technical service, installation, maintenance or commissioning.
Good English communication skills and willingness to travel regularly in Thailand and abroad.
THIS WOULD BE FAVORABLE:
Practical welding experience and basic knowledge about hydraulics are an advantage.
Experience in the PCB or CCL industry is an advantage.
Previous international field service experience strongly preferred.
Experience in technical project coordination is a strong reason to employ you.
Strong customer-service mindset and commercial awareness for maintenance and spare-parts solutions.
