For the service team of BÜRKLE, the world’s leading manufacturer of presses and coating technology, we are looking for you as a “hands-on” mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineer with experience both, mechanical and electrical services and installations. You should be hands-on and willing and capable of handling the installation of heavy machines and systems. What should make you special is that you combine basic knowledge of high- and low-voltage electric machines and the ability or willingness to quickly learn how to read hydraulic drawings.

If you also enjoy traveling in Southeast Asia and are able to communicate technical terms in English, then you are the right person for Bürkle's Southeast Asia team.

MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

• Prepare and carry out mechanical pre-installation according to lay-out.

• Install small parts, rails, cable trays, level carriages, presses, and racks.

• Perform electrical wiring and connections.

• Electrical inspection before powering on the system.

• Testing, commissioning and training customer staff on the system.

OTHER FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

• Troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical issues incl. standard software problems.

• Propose and sell preventive maintenance and spare part packages to customers.

• Conduct retrofitting and upgrades.

• Coordinate with BUERKLE sub-suppliers for specific issues.

YOU SHOULD BRING THESE KEY SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred as a Mechatronics, Automation engineer or related.

• Basic knowledge about electrical engineering and the ability to read hydraulic drawings.

• 3 years of experience in organizing and carrying out technical services with hands-on mentality.

• Willingness to travel regularly and working overtime both domestically and abroad (up to 6 months).

• Basic command of English language.

THIS WOULD BE FAVORABLE:

• Some experience in welding is of advantage.

• Experience in the PCB/CCL industry is of advantage.

• Previous experience in international service or project management is an advantage.

• Positive work attitude and a service-oriented mind-set are substantial.

• Authorized to work in Thailand.
